Prime Minister Narendra Modi was recently bestowed with the esteemed ‘Lokmanya Tilak National Award’ by the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Trust. The event also marked the inauguration of the second phase of the Pune Metro. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expressed his admiration for PM Modi’s exceptional leadership, which has been instrumental in propelling the nation’s development and consistently supporting Maharashtra’s progress.
During his speech, Ajit Pawar applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering support in the developmental endeavors of Pune. He acknowledged the Prime Minister’s active cooperation and encouragement for the growth of Maharashtra. Ajit Pawar highlighted how PM Modi’s visionary leadership has played a vital role in steering the country’s development in the right direction. The presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself at the event was particularly appreciated, and Ajit Pawar expressed his gratitude for the same.
The Deputy Chief Minister also reminisced about the inauguration of the first phase of the Pune Metro by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now, with the inauguration of the second phase, Ajit Pawar acknowledged the collective efforts and perseverance of the people of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad in making this infrastructure project a reality. He praised their resilience, especially in the face of numerous challenges encountered during the execution of the project.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Ajit Pawar commended the efficient execution of the project without any delays. He credited the collaborative efforts of the government, led by Eknath Shinde, for the successful development and progress of Maharashtra.
