Ajit Pawar Denounces Waghere’s Claims: Calls Them Theatrics, Not Blessings

Kamshet, Pune: In a recent campaign meeting held in Kamshet to support Shrirang Barne, the Mahayuti candidate in the Maval Lok Sabha constituency, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar, along with other prominent leaders, launched scathing criticisms against their rivals, dismissing recent claims made by Sanjog Waghere, a former colleague now contesting for Mahavikas Aghadi.

Addressing party workers, Ajit Pawar vehemently refuted Waghere’s assertions that he had received blessings after touching his feet. Pawar dismissed the incident as mere theatrics orchestrated by Waghere, emphasizing that he does not entertain such tactics. “Once I make decisions, I don’t listen to anybody’s father. I have never engaged in ‘match-fixing,'” Pawar asserted, denouncing any suggestion of impropriety.

Amidst the political fervor, Pawar urged NCP activists to prioritize the Mahayuti alliance and refrain from causing chaos. Emphasizing the importance of unity for developmental progress, he urged party members to set aside personal relations and work diligently towards the alliance’s success. “No one’s betrayal will be tolerated by me,” Pawar affirmed, underscoring the need for unwavering commitment to the collective cause.

In his address, Pawar also lambasted the opposition for their lack of substantive arguments, accusing them of sowing discord and insecurity among marginalized communities. Touching upon developmental issues, he highlighted the challenges faced by industrial hubs like Talegaon, Chakan, and Ranjangaon, while also addressing concerns such as traffic congestion and water supply in urban areas.

Reflecting on the evolving political landscape, Sunil Shelke, MLA from Maval, emphasized the strategic alliance forged between NCP and BJP in the Mahayuti alliance. Shelke stressed the importance of solidarity in securing significant projects for Maval, urging party members to remain loyal and avoid betrayal.

Echoing these sentiments, Mahayuti candidate Shrirang Barne reiterated his commitment to development, citing his track record of service across various electoral positions. With the elections looming ahead, Barne rallied support for his candidacy, pledging to continue his efforts to bring prosperity to the region.

As the political discourse intensifies in the run-up to the elections, the campaign rhetoric underscores the significance of alliances, unity, and leadership in shaping the future trajectory of Maharashtra’s political landscape.
