Mumbai Film Industry Mourns the Loss of Renowned Art Director Nitin Chandrakant Desai

Mumbai : The Hindi film industry was struck with shock and grief upon learning about the tragic demise of Nitin Chandrakant Desai, a highly acclaimed art director. The news revealed that he took his own life by hanging himself at the ND studio in Karjat. Nitin Desai was renowned for his exceptional work as an art director in numerous Hindi films and grand events.

Before making his mark in the film industry, Nitin Desai pursued his education at Sir J.J. Art College, where he honed his photography skills. His illustrious film career commenced in 1987 and soared to prominence with the movie ‘1942 A Love Story.’ He went on to leave an indelible mark with his artistic vision in films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Lagaan’, ‘Jodha Akbar’, and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.’

The news of his untimely passing has left the film fraternity and fans in a state of deep sorrow.
