PUNE: To ensure smooth flow of traffic, temporary changes have been made in the parking system in Yerawada and Chaturshringi traffic divisions.
In the Yerawada traffic division under the Bund Garden water distribution department, on the main road opposite Wadgaon Sheri tanker filling centre, 100 metres on right and left side of the gate of the filling centre and 50 metre area near the in and out gate of Hariganga Society, a no-parking area has been created.
In the Chaturshringi traffic division, at Annapurna Apartment Chowk, Hyundai Chowk and Buldhana Urban Coop Bank, on both the sides, a 5 metre no-parking area has been created near the entrance. P1 and P2 parking arrangement is being created on both the sides of the 150 metre long road from Royal Holmes Landmark till Sylvan Heights Building number G. A 10 metre area on both the sides of the road near Vastu Sundar Coop Society’s Gate number 1 and a 10 metre area on right and left sides of Gate number 2 opposite Enclave Building is being made a no-parking area.
If the citizens have any suggestions and objections, they should send a letter to the DCP, Traffic Department branch, Yerawada post office, bungalow number 6, Jail Road, Pune by September 20. The suggestions and objections will be considered and final orders will be issued and emergency services vehicles will be exempt from this, DCP (Traffic) Vijayakumar Magar has informed.
