PM Modi’s Tour to Mumbai, Satara, and Pune Postponed, New Dates Awaited

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s much-anticipated tour to Mumbai, Satara, and Pune on February 19 has been unexpectedly postponed, leaving Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and organizers in disappointment. The tour, during which the Prime Minister was set to receive an award on the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was eagerly awaited, but the reasons for the cancellation remain unknown. The rescheduled dates for PM Modi’s visit will be announced soon.

The original itinerary included a visit to Pune’s historic Shivneri Fort on Shivaji Jayanti, followed by a trip to Aandhali Dam in Man Taluka and Satara, where he was to receive the prestigious Shiv Samman Award. The BJP workers had been actively organizing and making preparations for the visit, only to see their efforts go to waste due to the sudden cancellation.

MP Udayanraje Bhosale, along with Ranjitsinh Naik Nimbalkar, the current Madha MP, had eagerly awaited Prime Minister Modi’s visit, which coincided with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary on February 19. Plans included the discharge of water from the Jihe Katapur Yojana in Man Taluka’s Andhali Dam, constructed in honor of Prime Minister Modi’s Guru Laxmanrao Inamdar, with a jalpuja ceremony. Unfortunately, all these arrangements now stand canceled.

BJP officials cited undisclosed reasons for the postponement, stating that Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Satara and Man has been rescheduled. The disappointment among BJP workers is palpable, but they are hopeful for the announcement of new dates soon.
