PM Modi’s Pune Rally Shifts to Race Course Ground Amidst High Turnout Anticipation

Pune, India – In a strategic move to accommodate the expected surge in attendees, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a change in venue for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming election rally with grand alliance candidates in Pune, Shirur, Maval, and Baramati. Originally slated to be held at SP College grounds, the rally will now take place at the Race Course on April 29 in Pune.

Key Details:

  1. Venue Change: The decision to relocate the rally from SP College grounds to the Race Course was prompted by the anticipation of a large turnout of attendees. With the Lok Sabha elections looming and the significance of the rally in garnering support for the Mahayuti candidates, the BJP deemed it necessary to opt for a larger venue to accommodate the expected influx of citizens.
  2. Election Schedule: Polling for the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency is scheduled for May 7, while Pune, Shirur, and Maval constituencies are set to vote on May 13. Mahayuti candidates Sunetra Pawar, Murlidhar Mohol, Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, and Shrirang Barne are contesting from these constituencies respectively.
  3. Prime Minister’s Address: Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address the crowd in Pune on April 29 at 7 pm. The BJP aims to rally the support of at least one lakh citizens at the meeting, with allied parties such as the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Shiv Sena, Republican Party of India (RPI), and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) mobilizing their workers to ensure a strong turnout.

City President’s Statement: Dheeraj Ghate, BJP city president, elucidated on the decision to relocate the rally, stating, “The decision to move Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting to the Race Course on April 29 instead of the SP College ground was made to accommodate the large anticipated turnout. The route for Modi’s road show may also be altered, and discussions regarding this will be held at the Police Commissioner’s office on Wednesday.”

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the BJP’s strategic maneuver to shift the venue of Prime Minister Modi’s rally underscores the party’s concerted efforts to maximize voter outreach and rally support for its candidates. With the election campaign gaining momentum, all eyes are on the upcoming rally at the Race Course, where Prime Minister Modi is expected to address a sizable gathering of citizens, setting the tone for the electoral battle ahead.
