PCMC Takes Decisive Action Against Abandoned Vehicles and Teen Shades in Anti-Encroachment Drive
In a proactive move, the officials of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) have undertaken a robust anti-encroachment drive to address the issue of abandoned vehicles and unauthorized teen shades in the Balaji Nagar area. This operation was carried out in close coordination between the local ward office and the anti-encroachment department.
Under this initiative, PCMC officials executed action against two abandoned vehicles and dismantled three unauthorized teen shades, thereby reclaiming approximately 5,000 square feet of public land. To ensure the smooth execution of this operation, local law enforcement was also engaged for assistance.
The PCMC has asserted its commitment to continuing the anti-encroachment drive throughout the city, with officials prepared to take resolute action against encroachments of any kind.
The civic authorities have issued a public appeal, urging citizens not to leave their vehicles abandoned on public roads for extended periods and to refrain from erecting unauthorized teen shades that encroach upon government-owned land. Violators will be subject to appropriate legal action in accordance with established regulations.
