Noida’s Commuting Revolution: Eight Stations to Shape a Seamless Metro Line

Residents of Noida and Greater Noida have reason to rejoice as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has presented the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for a new metro line from Botanical Garden to Sector-142 to the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). The approval of this project will pave the way for the construction of a vital metro line connecting various high-rise societies, industrial units, and commercial sectors along the Noida Expressway.

Features and Benefits of Metro Line

This upcoming metro line, equipped with eight stations, is anticipated to significantly enhance connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida. The strategic placement of stations aims to serve the diverse needs of residents and businesses in the region, making daily travel more convenient.

Interchange Station Facility

A major interchange is planned at the Sector-142 station of the Aqua Line, enabling seamless transitions for passengers heading towards the Botanical Garden metro station. This interchange will create enhanced connectivity as the Botanical Garden station is already integrated with the Blue Line and Magenta Line.

Project Cost

The estimated cost for the development of this metro route is approximately Rs 2254 crore 35 lakh. This investment is poised to bring about substantial improvements in transportation infrastructure and accessibility.

Further Process

Once receiving approvals from both local authorities and NMRC, the proposed metro line will progress to seek approval from the state government and subsequently the central government. This systematic approval process ensures that the project aligns with regulatory standards and meets necessary safety and efficiency criteria.
