Indian Railways Introduces New Delhi-Patna Special Train Service: Details Revealed

In a bid to enhance connectivity and cater to the increasing passenger demand, Indian Railways has unveiled plans for a special train service between Anand Vihar Terminal in Delhi and Patna, Bihar. With a total of 18 trips scheduled, this service aims to streamline travel between the two cities, offering convenience and comfort to passengers.

Schedule Details:

  • Departure from Anand Vihar to Patna: Train number 04094 will embark on its journey from Anand Vihar every Monday, commencing from April 29 and concluding on June 24.
  • Departure from Patna to Anand Vihar: Train number 04093 is scheduled to depart from Patna every Tuesday, starting from April 30 and concluding on June 25.

This special train service has been strategically planned to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during this period, ensuring smooth and hassle-free travel for commuters.

Economic and Nutritious Meal Options:

In a commendable initiative, Indian Railways is committed to providing economical and nutritious meals to its passengers across the country, including those traveling on the newly introduced Delhi-Patna route. The aim is to offer clean and affordable food options conveniently available at various platforms, especially near general category coaches.

Meal Options and Pricing:

  1. Economy Meal (₹20): This pocket-friendly meal includes seven puris, dry potato curry, and pickle, catering to budget-conscious travelers.
  2. Snacks Meal (₹50): For those seeking a more substantial option, the snacks meal priced at ₹50 offers a variety of choices such as rice with rajma or chole, khichdi, kulche or bhature with chole, pav bhaji, or masala dosa.
  3. Drinking Water (₹3): Additionally, passengers can avail themselves of a 200 ml glass of water at a nominal cost of ₹3, ensuring hydration throughout their journey.
