Pune: Mahayuti’s Pune Lok Sabha candidate, Murlidhar Mohol, is campaigning in full swing as the election for Pune Lok Sabha approaches. As a part of his campaigning, he took a campaign rally in Pune. At that time, he informed that the 100-bed Labour Insurance Hospital at Bibvewadi has become operationalized, and soon work on another multifaceted hospital in a seven-story building on 16 acres of land with 500 beds will be completed.

He further said that this will help the citizens of Parvati, Bibvewadi, and Sinhagad Road areas get quality health facilities. During his campaign rally, Mohol visited the citizens of Ambedkar Nagar, Adinath Society, Premnagar, Gangadham, Market Yard Bus Depot, Mahesh Society, Chintamaninagar, Upper Indiranagar, etc. and understood their grievances.

At this time, BJP City President Dheeraj Ghate, MLA Madhuri Misal, MLA Sunil Kamble, Coordinator Shrinath Bhimale, Deepak Misal, Rajendra Shilimkar, Mansi Deshpande, Rupali Dhadve, Varsha Sathe, Kavita Vairage, Rajshree Shilimkar, Pravin Chorbole, Anusaya Chavan, Prashant Divekar, Shiv Sena Leader Sudhir Kurumkar , Nitin Lagas, Srikanth Pujari, Avinash Khedekar, NCP’s Santosh Nangre, and Shweta Honrao were prominently present.

Mohol criticised Congress’ sluggish approach to development, saying, “Congress has been announcing for many years to build a hospital on the lines of Sassoon. However, it never materialised. On the persistent demand of MLA Madhuri Misal, the central government is now building the hospital in the area.”

He informed that the new spacious hospital will have an intensive care unit, an outpatient ward, a separate ward for super specialty facilities, and a general and intensive care unit. It will include radiology, biochemistry, and microbiology laboratories. The construction of this hospital will be completed in the next two years.

He said that it was a proud moment for him that Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpayee Medical College of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) could be started during his tenure as mayor of PMC. “This college will provide high-quality education to medical students and affordable healthcare services to patients. The city’s health systems were modernised and expanded during the Corona period,” Mohol added.
