PUNE: After NCP leader Ajit Pawar joined hands with the Shinde Fadnavis government, accusations are being traded between leaders of Sharad Pawar group and Ajit Pawar group. NCP MP Supriya Sule was asked whether she was targeting Ajit Pawar by demanding in the Parliament that a probe should be held into the irrigation scam if the allegations are true, she replied, “I have been taught to respect my older brother and this is my culture. Ajit Pawar is my elder brother. I have never spoken against Ajit Pawar and will never do so.”

“In last 10 years, the BJP government at the Centre has misused the investigative agencies and tried to finish our party. During this period, PM Narendra Modi has referred to NCP as the Natural Corrupt Party. Now, a part of NCP is with him. Hence, Modi has stopped criticising the NCP. Hence, I want to ask PM Modi whether the allegations levelled against NCP were true or false? If the allegations are true, then, a probe should be held. If the allegations are false, he should express regret,” Sule said and targeted PM Modi.

“Allegations were made against NCP leaders like Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik and they had to go to jail. Did the BJP leaders ever think about their families? My three sisters had no connection with politics but still their houses were raided at the behest of BJP. Nothing came out of these raids. Hence, the Centre should clarify that the allegations which were made wee false and apologise. Hence, the BJP should do soul searching,” Sule said.
