Countdown Begins: Maharashtra’s HSC & SSC Results Expected in May

Maharashtra’s educational landscape is abuzz with expectations as the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) gears up to unveil the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC, Std XII) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC, Std X) exams in May.

Typically, SSC results are unveiled by June, with HSC results trailing by the final week of May. However, this year’s evaluation process has proceeded smoothly, paving the way for an earlier release date than usual.

Commencing on March 1 for SSC and in the third week of February for HSC, this year’s examination schedule set the stage for a timely evaluation process. As of now, the HSC exam evaluation is nearing completion, with approximately 98% of the process finalized. Officials are awaiting final reports from 10–12 centers, reassuring stakeholders that the process remains on track. Similarly, the SSC evaluation is nearing conclusion, offering students the prospect of receiving their results by the end of May.

A staggering number of students, exceeding 15 lakh from the state’s ten divisions—Pune, Mumbai, Amravati, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Latur, Nashik, Konkan, and Kolhapur—participated in the HSC examinations this year. Concurrently, over 16 lakh students undertook the SSC examination, marking an increase of 30,000 students compared to the previous year.

To stay abreast of developments, parents and students are encouraged to visit the official website regularly at mahresult.nic.in. As anticipation builds, the forthcoming release of HSC and SSC results promises to be a defining moment for students across Maharashtra, heralding the culmination of their academic journey and opening doors to future endeavors.
