Vantage Data Centers Unveils Cutting-Edge Facility on Quincy, Washington Campus

Vantage Data Centers, a prominent player in the data center industry, has marked a significant achievement with the opening of its latest facility on the Quincy, Washington campus. The recently inaugurated WA13 data center, aligned with Vantage’s sustainability principles, underscores the company’s commitment to innovation and eco-friendly infrastructure.

A Remarkable Milestone in Quincy

The introduction of WA13, the third and final facility on the WA1 campus in Quincy, Washington, is a testament to Vantage Data Centers’ dedication to expanding and enhancing data center capabilities. The ribbon-cutting ceremony held on the occasion of this achievement highlighted the commitment to quality and safety that underpins Vantage’s operations.

Prioritizing Sustainability

Vantage’s WA13 facility is not just about data capacity; it’s also about embracing sustainable design principles. Covering a vast area of 530,000 square feet, this cutting-edge data center is equipped to deliver 64 MW of IT capacity, contributing to the overall 89 MW offered across the 68-acre campus. Notably, WA13 embodies Vantage’s commitment to sustainability with features such as a closed-loop air-cooled chiller system and Tier 4 generators to minimize emissions, especially particulate and nitric oxide (NO).

A Decade of Impact in Quincy

Since its entry into the Quincy market in 2011, Vantage has channeled over USD 1 billion into the development of the WA1 campus. This significant investment has not only bolstered the data center infrastructure but has also been a boon for the local economy. Vantage has directly contributed to job creation, further enriching the Quincy community.

Reliable, Clean Energy

The Quincy campus receives its power supply from the Grant County Public Utility District (GCPUD), which owns and operates hydroelectric dams producing an average of 1,050 MW of clean, renewable energy annually. This clean energy source aligns with Vantage’s commitment to eco-friendly operations.
