The expansive facility, sprawling over 4.8 acres, is poised to employ more than 500 individuals directly, adding to Vertiv’s substantial presence in the country.

Vertiv already boasts two manufacturing facilities in India, located in Ambernath and Pune. The Chakan facility, the latest addition to the company’s infrastructure, will primarily focus on the production of thermal solutions. Subhasis Majumdar, Managing Director of Vertiv India, emphasized the significance of the Chakan facility in Vertiv’s supply chain. He noted, “Our supply chain includes vendors and sub-vendors who have also set up their facilities in Chakan.”
