Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML)

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced special measures to address transportation challenges for students during the upcoming board exams. With Intermediate exams scheduled from February 21 to March 19 and High School Exams from March 1 to March 26, PMPML aims to ensure a seamless travel experience for students across the city.

Special Initiatives by PMPML:

  1. Free Travel for Pass Holders: Students with valid travel passes for specific routes need not purchase additional tickets for different routes leading to their examination centers during the exam period.
  2. Front Entrance Boarding: In response to increased demand, students are allowed to board buses through the front entrance without legal repercussions, facilitating smoother access during exams.
  3. Crowd Regulation: PMPML will deploy invigilators at busy bus stops to regulate crowds, ensuring an organized flow of students and preventing congestion.
  4. Dedicated Buses for Educational Institutions: Addressing requests from educational institutions for dedicated buses, PMPML will provide suitable solutions to meet the specific transportation needs of students.

Commitment to Student Welfare:

This initiative reflects PMPML’s commitment to supporting students during critical periods, acknowledging the stress associated with board exams. By implementing these measures, PMPML aims to contribute to stress-free travel, allowing students to focus on their exams without transportation concerns.
