Vande Bharat Express Expands Routes for Swift Pune to Vadodara and Mumbai to Kolhapur Connectivity

Pune – In a strategic move to bolster connectivity and streamline travel, Central Railway is set to launch two additional routes for the Vande Bharat Express, connecting Mumbai to Kolhapur and Pune to Vadodara. The expansion aims to cater to the growing demand for efficient, short-haul journeys, aligning with the popularity of the Vande Bharat Express among passengers.

Renowned for its speed and comfort, the Vande Bharat Express has become synonymous with seamless travel, strategically linking religious destinations and business hubs across the nation. The decision to extend its services on the Central Railway is a testament to the positive reception it has received from passengers, highlighting the need for quicker and more convenient travel options.

Presently, the Vande Bharat Express operates on various routes, including Mumbai to Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar, CSMT to Madgaon, CSMT to Shirdi, CSMT to Solapur, and CSMT to Jalna.

The expansion marks the addition of the fifth Vande Bharat Express route, extending from CSMT to Kolhapur, providing an alternative travel option for passengers. Notably, the Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar route on the Western Railway has received significant acclaim for its efficiency. The upcoming Pune-Vadodara Vande Bharat Express is expected to further improve rail connectivity between Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Railway officials have disclosed that the Pune-Vadodara Vande Bharat Express will pass through Vasai Road, ensuring a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for passengers.
