Pune : In a significant move to enhance accessibility and convenience for Ph.D. aspirants and students, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has launched the ‘Ph.D. Admission and Tracking Portal.’ The portal, inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Gosavi, Vice-Chancellor of the University, aims to streamline the entire process from admission to tracking the progress of Ph.D. journeys.
The launch event witnessed the presence of prominent figures, including Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Parag Kalkar, In-charge Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Khare, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Munjaji Rasve, Assistant Registrar Mohan Belekar, and other university officials.
The initiative comes in response to the increasing number of Ph.D. students at SPPU, addressing their queries and providing a one-stop solution for information related to pre-admission tests, admission procedures, courses, eligibility criteria, and fees.
The ‘Ph.D. Admission and Tracking Portal’ offers a user-friendly interface where students can track their entire Ph.D. journey, including preliminary tests, admissions, document uploads, thesis progress, and scholarship information. The portal centralizes the entire process, making it efficient for students from form filling to declaration.
A notable feature of the portal is its accessibility without the need for registration or login, ensuring a seamless experience for users. The platform also provides information about guides and research centers available for specific subjects with just a click.
