Pune: In Pune’s Mohammadwadi area, a disturbing incident involving twisting a woman’s hand and abusing her over the non-completion of a furniture order took place on Thursday, December 21. In this case, a complaint has been filed against the accused and his mother at Kondhwa Police Station.

The complainant owns a furniture manufacturing factory near K.K. Garage in Mohammadwadi. According to the police, the 22-year-old accused, Farman Kadar Ali, had given an order for furniture for his house. However, the victim was not able to complete the accused’s order within time due to work pressure.

Infuriated over this, the accused on Thursday entered the complainant’s shop and abused her badly. In a fit of rage, he twisted the woman’s hand forcefully and threatened the plaintiff with burying her alive if she did not complete his work on time. It has been further mentioned that in the scuffle, the accused molested the victim woman by touching her inappropriately.

Shockingly, the accused’s mother threatened her to lodge a fake complaint against her if she reported the incident to anyone. After this, the plaintiff woman registered a complaint against the accused and his mother at Kondhwa Police Station. Acting on it, police booked both the accused under IPC 354, 354A, 323, 504, 506, 507, and 34. Further investigation is being conducted by female assistant police inspector Sukeshini Jadhav.
