Pune: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Pune on Tuesday, members of the Youth Congress have staged a protest by putting up posters with the phrase “Modi, Go Back” around the city. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Pune on August 1 for a significant event – accepting the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Award and inaugurating various city development projects .

The posters, which have been carefully placed across Pune, act as a protest against the continuing unrest in Manipur. Some of the posters read, “Man Ki Baat Band Karo Manipur Ki Baat Karo,” “Go Back Mr. Crime Minister,” ” Mr. Prime Minister Go To Manipur Face The Parliament” etc.

The opposition Congress Party’s Youth Wing is utilising these posters to express their worry about the situation in Manipur. On the other hand, the Pune Police Department is working with the Municipal Corporation to quickly remove these unauthorised posters. As the city prepares for the Prime Minister’s visit, officials are working to ensure that the event is conducted peacefully.
