In a significant operation, officials from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) department conducted a raid on Krishna Food Center, situated in the Pirangut area, following multiple complaints of adulterated milk products. During this operation, the authorities seized adulterated milk products valued at a staggering Rs 10,73,650. It was discovered that Krishna Food Center, operating near Pirangut, had been engaged in both the production and sale of adulterated milk products and ice cream.

According to reports, the confiscated items included adulterated ice cream, skim milk powder, vegetable oil, and palm oil. Furthermore, nearly two tons of ready-made ice cream were deemed unfit for consumption and had to be disposed of.
