Pune: Aryan Public School founder, principal booked for running unauthorised school, taking exorbitant fees from parents

Pune: A school founder, its principal and others have been booked for cheating. The Aryan Public School, Narhe is being run without fulfilling the terms and conditions laid out by the state government and without submitting the necessary documents.

Inflated fees were taken from parents to admit their children. The founder and principal of the school have been booked in this regard.

Ashok Shrirang Godse (50), a resident of Hadapsar, lodged a complaint at the Sinhagad Police Station. Aryan Public School founder Aryan Suryavanshi alias Santosh Chaure, principal Madhuri Suryavanshi and others have been booked under sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 34 of the IPC. The incident happened between June 16, 2022 and October 11, 2023.

According to the police, the Aryan Public School founder, principal and others violated the terms and conditions laid out by the government. The accused have been running the school without submitting the necessary documents. They also admitted children in the school. They also took unauthorised inflated fees from parents.

Even though the school is unauthorised, the accused collected documents and certificates from students. They also demanded leaving certificates from other schools and caused revenue loss to the government. School founder Aryan Suryavanshi alias Santosh Chaure and principal Madhuri Suryavanshi have been booked for cheating. API Yadav is investigating further.
