MSRDC Announces Vehicular Diversion on Pune-Mumbai Expressway Near Khopoli

In a significant development, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has introduced a diversion plan for vehicles traveling on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Khopoli. This decision comes in light of the ongoing capacity expansion project on the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway, with the roadwork approaching completion.

As per the new traffic arrangement, vehicles heading from Pune towards Mumbai are instructed to utilize two lanes on the right side of the Mumbai channel when passing through Khopoli village. In contrast, vehicles traveling towards Pune should utilize the three lanes on the left side. The implementation of this vehicular diversion is scheduled to commence from Monday, March 4, 2024.
