Dynamic Duos and Stellar Singles: Dhruvi and Jay Triumph at Om Dalvi Memorial Tennis Tournament

In a display of exceptional talent and unwavering determination, Dhruvi Adyanthaya and Jay Pawar emerged as champions at the 13th Edition of the Om Dalvi Memorial Dr. Nitu Mandke Trophy All India Ranking U-18 Super Series Tennis Tournament 2023. The tournament, organized by the Om Dalvi Memorial Trust under the auspices of AITA (All India Tennis Association) and MSLTA (Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association), unfolded at the Om Dalvi Memorial Tennis School, Maharashtra Police Tennis Gymkhana (MT), Parihar Chowk, Aundh, Pune.

The finals showcased thrilling matches, with Dhruvi Adyanthaya securing the girls’ singles title with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Swanika Roy. Meanwhile, local sensation Jay Pawar exhibited his prowess on the court, outplaying Anmol Nagpure with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 score to claim the boys’ singles title.

In the boys’ doubles category, Sarth Bansode and Arnav Bansode demonstrated their synergy, clinching the title in a closely contested match against Omkar Shinde and Ashwin Narsinghani. The duo emerged victorious with a 6-4, 6-7(5), 15-13 scoreline.

The girls’ doubles title was secured by the formidable pair of Dhanashree Patil and Parthsarthi Mundhe, who exhibited finesse on the court with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Saanvi Misra and Dhanvi Kale.

The awards ceremony was graced by Mr. Mandar Mandke, Trustee of Dr. Nitu Mandke Foundation, along with Mr. Vikram Bokey and Mr. Umesh Dalvi, trustees of Om Dalvi Memorial. AITA Supervisor Mr. Shriram Gokhale, Mr. Maruti Raut, and Niharika Gore added to the dignified presence during the prize distribution.
