Swift Action by Firefighters Prevents Further Damage in Rahatani Cylinder Blast Incident

In a fortunate turn of events, a potential disaster was averted on April 6, as four gas cylinders exploded in a fire at laborers’ huts in Rahatani, near Sukhwani Arya, Godambe Chowk. Despite the intensity of the blaze, no injuries were reported, thanks to the timely response of firefighters who managed to bring the situation under control.

The incident unfolded on Saturday evening when firefighters received a distress call around 5:39 pm, alerting them to the fire outbreak. Upon arrival, they swiftly initiated firefighting operations and successfully contained the flames. Additionally, they ensured the safe removal of seven gas cylinders from the vicinity, mitigating the risk of further damage.

Fortunately, all the laborers were away at work during the time of the incident, thereby avoiding any casualties. However, the fire resulted in the destruction of belongings belonging to four individuals, leaving them displaced. As investigations into the cause of the fire are still ongoing, authorities remain vigilant to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
