PhonePe’s Delivery App Pincode Expands to 10 Additional Cities

PhonePe-powered Pincode, an online delivery app, has expanded its services to 10 more cities, according to a company statement. Initially launched in Bangalore in April, Pincode is built on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) platform.

In addition to Bangalore, the Pincode app is now available in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Pune.

Similar to popular platforms like Swiggy and Zomato, Pincode enables users to order food or groceries from local establishments within their city. The PhonePe-backed app covers six categories, including grocery, food, home, pharma, electronics, and fashion. It offers users discounts, as well as convenient refund and return processes.

Pincode General Manager Lalit Singh expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to share that Pincode is now live in 10 cities across India. The initial response and rapid consumer adoption of Pincode have given us the confidence to expand our services.”

The app features famous brands such as Behrouz Biriyani in Chennai, Oudh 1590 in Kolkata, and Malabar Bay in Bangalore, among others.

To get started with the Pincode app, users can download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After installation, they need to link it to their PhonePe registered mobile number and provide the OTP (one-time password). Once registered, users can proceed to order directly from the app’s homepage.

As Pincode continues to expand its footprint, it aims to provide users in more cities with a seamless online delivery experience across various categories.
