Exclusive Service for Educators to Facilitate Smooth Journey During Peak Season
In a bid to accommodate the travel needs of teachers during the summer rush, Central Railway has announced the operation of two fully reserved special trains between Dadar and Gorakhpur. This initiative aims to provide educators with a convenient and hassle-free mode of transportation between Mumbai and Gorakhpur, ensuring a comfortable journey amidst the peak summer season.
The first special train, designated as 01101 Teachers’ Special, will depart from Dadar at 14:05 hrs on May 2, 2024, and is scheduled to arrive at Gorakhpur at 02:45 hrs on the third day of the journey. Similarly, the second special train, numbered 01102 Teachers’ Special, will depart from Gorakhpur at 14:25 hrs on June 10, 2024, and is set to reach Dadar at 03:30 hrs on the third day.
Both special trains will make halts at various stations along the route, including Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Harda, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati Station, Bina, Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Khargapur, Maharaj Chhatrasal Station Chhatarpur, Khajuraho, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakutdham Karwi, Manikpur, Prayagraj Jn., Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Mau, Bhatni, and Deoria Sadar.
The composition of these special trains will include one AC-2 Tier coach, three AC-3 Tier coaches, eight Sleeper Class coaches, and five General Second Class coaches, including two Guard’s Brake Vans.
Passengers interested in availing themselves of the Teachers’ Special trains are advised to make reservations at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Reservation Centre, with bookings opening on March 31, 2024, at 14:30 hrs. In the event of availability after the booking of Teachers’ Special, seats will be made open to the general public from April 1, 2024, at all computerized reservation centers and through the internet on www.irctc.co.in.
