Roku Pro Series TV Launches in the US, Promises Enhanced Viewing Experience

After its debut at CES 2024, Roku is now rolling out its Pro Series TV in the United States market. This eagerly anticipated product promises to blend affordability with high-end features, offering consumers an immersive viewing experience. With advanced picture innovations, a sleek design, immersive audio, and a revamped Voice Remote Pro, Roku aims to redefine home entertainment.

Chris Larson, Vice President of Retail Strategy at Roku, expressed excitement about the launch, highlighting the company’s dedication to enhancing the viewing experience. “We’ve invested years in making the picture great for the shows and movies you’re watching — and now we’ve added the simplicity of automation,” Larson stated. “Our Pro Series TVs not only look and sound beautiful; they also give our customers the best possible viewing experience, no matter what they’re watching.”

The Roku Pro Series TV boasts miniLED backlighting, delivering deep blacks and vibrant colors. With a 4K QLED panel featuring HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ technologies, viewers can expect stunning visuals. Key features of the Roku Pro Series TV include its sleek design, snappy streaming powered by a new quad-core processor and Wi-Fi 6, automatic brightness adjustment based on room lighting, Dolby Atmos speakers for cinematic sound, and a headphone mode for personalized entertainment experiences. Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the automatic game mode for tear-free gaming, complete with a 120Hz refresh rate and advanced gaming features.

Moreover, the inclusion of the 2nd generation Roku Voice Remote Pro enhances the user experience, offering features like backlit buttons, hands-free voice commands, and a remote finder.

Excitingly, Roku has also teased a forthcoming software update that promises to further enhance the Pro Series TV’s capabilities. Among the anticipated features are Backdrops, Roku Smart Picture, and updates to browsing and discovery via the Roku Mobile App.

The Roku Pro Series TVs are available in 55”, 65”, and 75” models, priced between $899.99 and $1699.99, with the optional Slim-profile Wall Mount Kit retailing at $99.99. The Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd Edition) is currently available on Roku.com for $29.99 and will soon be accessible at major retailers.
