Pune, 3rd July 2023: A day after videos of Amol Kolhe, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Member of Parliament (MP) from Shirur Lok Sabha constituency, attending the oath ceremony of Ajit Pawar went viral, Kolhe took to social media on Monday to share a video clarifying his stance. In the video, Kolhe reiterates his loyalty to NCP chief Sharad Pawar.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Amol Kolhe included an interview he had given to the media. In the interview, he stated, “Whatever Saheb [referring to Sharad Pawar] says will be the policy, and whatever he says will be the title.” The video concludes with a message stating, “I am with Saheb,” accompanied by a photograph of Kolhe alongside Sharad Pawar. Kolhe captioned the tweet with the words, “Sometimes when there is a war going on between the mind and heart, one should listen to the heart. Perhaps the mind sometimes forgets morality, but the heart never does.”
This video statement has sparked speculation regarding the intentions of the leaders who recently joined Ajit Pawar. Earlier, NCP state president Jayant Patil had addressed the media and mentioned that several leaders who were seen with Ajit Pawar in Mumbai on Sunday are expected to return to the fold of Sharad Pawar soon.
