Pune Police Parade Notorious Criminals

Pune: Amitesh Kumar has intensified its action against organized criminals in the city in order to conduct Lok Sabha elections in the city in a fear-free manner. As a part of his crackdown against criminals, the Commissioner of Police has started conducting a parade of hardcore criminals in the city.

A few days ago, the famous gangsters of the city were called to the Police Commissionerate and given a warning by taking their parade. After that, the Commissioner of Police has now started to take a parade of the criminals at the police station level.

The organized crime and gang wars have started increasing in Pune city limits in the last few months. Therefore, on the order of Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, a ‘parade’ of local criminals is being held in all the police stations in Pune in the background of the Lok Sabha elections. On Thursday, local criminals were present at all the police stations and police posts in the city.

The criminals who have been booked for serious offenses such as rioting, spreading terror, gathering illegal mobs, and possessing illegal weapons were called by Pune police on Thursday, and they were summoned. These criminals were warned not to cause any kind of disruptions or illegal activities during the election. Also, a strict warning was given to them to present for inquiries or attendance whenever they got called.

A few days ago, on the order of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, a parade of 200 to 300 notorious criminals was taken out in the Police Commissionerate. In these, notorious gangsters such as Gaja Marne, Neeraj Ghaiwal, etc. were also present. The police issued strict warnings to these gangsters not to disrupt election procedures or create hindrances to the election process.

The Pune city police have increased surveillance in the city and tightened security measures after the incident of the firing of a bullet at Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai. After this, the police commissioner spoke to more than 100 ‘gunmen’ or sharp shooters in the city and warned them against doing any such activity in the city.
