Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Celebrities and Leaders Exercise Their Right to Vote

The Lok Sabha elections of 2024 witnessed a significant turnout as celebrities and political leaders alike stepped forward to exercise their constitutional right. From renowned actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza to influential figures like Amit Shah, Gautam Adani, Sharad Pawar, and Ajit Pawar, citizens across the nation participated in this democratic process with fervor and enthusiasm.

Celebrity Participation in Maharashtra: In the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, actor Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia D’Souza cast their votes, setting an example for their fellow citizens. Accompanied by Riteish’s mother, Vaishali Deshmukh, the couple arrived at the polling booth in Babhalgaon village, emphasizing the importance of family support in facilitating the electoral participation of all members of society.

Riteish Deshmukh, hailing from a political family background, reiterated the significance of every individual’s contribution to the democratic process. His brother, former minister Amit Deshmukh, echoed this sentiment, urging voters to exercise their democratic right and strengthen the nation’s democracy.

Political Leaders’ Participation: Union Minister Amit Shah and Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, were among the notable figures who cast their votes in the Lok Sabha elections. Amit Shah exercised his franchise under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, emphasizing the importance of citizen participation in shaping the nation’s future.

Gautam Adani, a prominent industrialist, emphasized the democratic ethos by casting his vote at Mahmadpura Primary School in Ahmedabad. He urged fellow citizens to join him in this democratic endeavor, highlighting the collective responsibility of all Indians in the electoral process.

Sharad Pawar, Chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, also participated in the electoral process, casting their votes in Baramati and Katewadi respectively. Their active involvement underscores the significance of political leadership in upholding democratic principles and fostering civic engagement.
