Pune Celebrates Two Outstanding Teachers from Ambegaon Taluka with National and State-Level Exemplary Teacher Awards

In a momentous recognition of their exceptional dedication and contributions to the field of education, Mrinal Ganjale-Shinde and Santosh Ramchandra Thorat, two outstanding educators from Ambegaon taluka in Pune, have been honored with prestigious national and state-level exemplary teacher awards.

Mrinal Ganjale-Shinde:

Mrinal Ganjale-Shinde, an extraordinary educator, received the esteemed National Education Award from the Union Ministry of Education in New Delhi. This award was a testament to her remarkable contributions to education, particularly at Pune Zilla Parishad Primary School in Pimpalgaon-Khadki (Ambegaon). The accolade included a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a certificate, and a medal. Ganjale-Shinde was joined by her family, including her husband Mayur Shinde, mother-in-law Shobha Shinde, and daughter Avina Shinde, during the prestigious award ceremony.

In New Delhi, the Adarsh Teacher Award was jointly presented to her by President Draupadi Murmu and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Santosh Ramchandra Thorat:

Santosh Ramchandra Thorat, an inspirational teacher at Pune Zilla Parishad Primary School in Nigdale (Ambegaon taluka), a remote tribal area near Sri Kshetra Bhimashankar, was honored with the esteemed Great Social Reformer Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule State Teacher Award for the year 2022-23. School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar presented this distinguished award, which includes a cash prize of one lakh rupees, a certificate, and a badge of honor.

The award ceremony was graced by the presence of Teacher MLA Vikram Kale, Education Commissioner Suraj Mandre, School Education Secretary Ranjitsinh Deol, and Teacher MLA Pratap Sarnaik, among other dignitaries. Santosh Thorat was surrounded by his proud family members, including his father Ramchandra Thorat, wife Kamal Santosh Thorat, sister Ujwala Rakshe, Vaishali Bhor, Ashwini Tambade, Rohini Ashok Padwal, headmistress Manisha Balasaheb Kanade, Lahu Ghodekar, Santosh Kanade, Changdev Padwal, Vikas Kanade, Santosh Bhor, and many others.

These exemplary teachers from Ambegaon taluka have not only made their families and schools proud but have also set a shining example for the entire teaching community.
