Chakan: A woman and her son died due to electrocution at Kharabwadi hamlet near Chakan. The woman was trying to save her son from electrocution.
According to the details, the duo died after they were electrocuted on the rooftop of their house. The victims have been identified as Samarth Jaju (15) and his mother Pallavi Jaju. The boy climbed the roof of the house, along with his mother. Electric current was passing through a tin sheet lying on the roof. The boy came in contact with the tin sheet. His mother rushed to save him after she saw him receiving the shock. However, both were electrocuted and died. Local residents expressed grief over the incident.
