PUNE: An incident of a senior citizen (77) getting killed after being hit by a PMPML bus took place in Ghorpadi village on Saturday (July 29). The deceased has been identified as Umabai Ranba Dhende (77), a resident of Ghorpadigaon.
Shashank Dhende (32) has lodged a complaint and the Mundhwa police have registered an FIR against the PMPML driver. Umabai Dhende was crossing the road near Anant theatre in Ghorpadigaon when a PMPML bus hit her. She was seriously injured and died while undergoing treatment. The PMPML driver disappeared after the mishap. PSI Anil Binwade is probing the case.
