Pimpri, 14th July 2023: Residents of several areas in Pimpri Chinchwad have been informed about an upcoming power cut due to essential maintenance work. According to Mahavitaran, the power utility company, the power supply is expected to be suspended for approximately 8 hours on Saturday.
In a statement, Mahavitaran explained that urgent maintenance work needs to be conducted at the Pimpri Camp (22 KV) substation. This work includes the replacement of breaker poles, servicing of breakers, and restoration of the overhead transmission line (22 KV) to ensure the prevention of accidents. These tasks are crucial for maintaining a reliable power supply.
To facilitate the maintenance and repair work, power supply will be interrupted from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, July 15, in various areas, including Pimpri Gaon, Waghere Ali, Mali Ali, Kudale Colony, B-Block, C-Block, Pimpri Camp, Pimpri Market, Bhosari, and Milind Nagar. Mahavitaran has requested the cooperation of citizens and customers during this period and advised them to take necessary precautions.
