Pune: In a distressing incident of road rage, a collision between a car and a bike on Saturday evening (17th) at approximately 6:00 PM near Vijay Sales on Solapur Road, Pune, led to a violent altercation. The aftermath of the collision saw a 32-year-old man from Mundhwa file a complaint at the Wanwadi police station, prompting the registration of a case under sections IPC 354, 323, 504, 506, and 34 against the occupants of the car bearing registration number MH 12 DY 5122.
The plaintiff recounted that he was traversing from Shevkar Vasti Road on Pune Solapur Road accompanied by his wife and daughter when their bike was struck from behind by the car in question. Confronted about the collision, the occupants of the car responded with aggression, physically assaulting the plaintiff and threatening him with dire consequences. Shockingly, the assailants proceeded to sexually abuse the plaintiff’s wife with the intention of outraging her modesty.
The altercation escalated further as the plaintiff’s husband and their young daughter fell victim to the assailants’ violence. The Wanwadi police have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
