Pune: Drugs worth ₹46 lakh seized in Mundhwa; Three including woman arrested

PUNE: The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) arrested a woman and two others for selling cocaine and Mephedrone in the city. The action was taken in the Mundhwa area. Cocaine and Mephedrone worth ₹46.59 lakh was seized from the accused.

The accused have been identified as Sagar Kailas Bhosle (26), a resident of Kharadi, Ajitsingh Indrajitsingh Bhavania (40), a resident of Lohegaon Road and Imrin Gary Green (37), a resident of Lohegaon Road. The ANC had received information that two people were going to visit Lonkar Vasti in Mundhwa to sell drugs. The police arrested Bhosle and Green and seized drugs worth ₹46.59 lakh from them. During questioning, they admitted buying drugs from Bhavania.

The action was taken under the guidance of CP Ritesh Kumar, Jt CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende and ACP Sunil Tambe by Sr PI Vinayak Gaikwad, API Laxman Dhengle, Shailaja Jankar, Police Amaldar Vishal Dalvi, Maruti Pardhi, Manoj Salunke, Rahul Joshi, Dnyaneshwar Ghorpade, Pandurang Pawar, Sandeep Shirke, Pravin Uttekar, Sachin Malve, Vishal Shinde, Rehana Shaikh, Sandesh Kakade, Nitesh Jadhav and Yogesh Mohite.
