This new facility, set to host more than 1,300 employees, will focus on developing advanced enterprise cloud technologies in collaboration with global engineering teams. Software engineer Arsh Goyal, employed at the new Pune office, recently shared a video tour on Instagram, revealing the diverse facilities available to Google employees. The spacious office features a well-stocked cafe offering a tempting range of food, a game zone, a recreation room, and aesthetically pleasing interiors.
Goyal invited viewers to share their favorite parts of the office, sparking enthusiasm and comments from over 4,70,000 viewers and nearly 18,000 likes. Many expressed their desire to work in such an innovative and vibrant environment, showcasing the allure of Google’s Pune office.
Google’s Expanding Footprint in India
With the addition of the Pune office, Google now boasts five offices in India, including its country headquarters in Hyderabad. Anil Bhansali, VP of Cloud Engineering, India, Google Cloud, highlighted the significance of India as a technology hub, emphasizing the country’s talent pool as a strategic asset for Google Cloud.
”India has long been a hub for technology and innovation, and the strong talent pool here makes it a strategic location for Google Cloud to invest in our cloud infrastructure, grow our operations, and expand our workforce to support our growing customer base,” said Mr. Bhansali.
