Pune’s PMC Flower Show Enchants Spectators with Vibrant Colors at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden

Pune, Maharashtra – The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) marked its anniversary with the grandeur of the 42nd PMC Annual Fruits, Flowers, and Vegetables Competition and Exhibition, captivating spectators at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden.

The exhibition, inaugurated by Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, aims to underscore the significance of trees and plants in our ecosystem. Featuring 12 sections with 216 subdivisions, the event hosts a diverse range of competitions, including decorative flower pot arrangements, herb collections, and more.

Visitors are treated to a visual feast of different flowers and fruits, complemented by replicas of various garden types. The prize distribution ceremony for winners is scheduled for today, bringing together participants from renowned institutions such as Pune University, Metro, and others.

The exhibition goes beyond aesthetics by showcasing bonsai and promoting the crucial cause of tree conservation. For gardening enthusiasts, stalls selling a variety of gardening materials are open daily from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm. Entry to the event is free, and visitors can conveniently use the PMC CARE App for direct access, eliminating the need for waiting in queues.
