Pune’s Cold Affair: Shivajinagar Registers 10.9 Degrees Celsius, Misty Mornings Delight Residents

Pune, India – In the early hours of 1st February (Thursday), the Shivajinagar area in Pune experienced a chilly morning, recording a minimum temperature of 10.9 degrees Celsius, bringing the mercury down to single digits. The current temperature in Shivajinagar stands at 15.4 degrees Celsius, and the weather forecast suggests that tomorrow may also witness single-digit minimum temperatures in the area.

This is part of a continuing trend, as on 25th January 2024, Pune faced persistent cold weather, with Shivajinagar recording a temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius. The weather department predicts that the trend of single-digit temperatures is likely to persist for the next couple of days.

On 24th January, several areas in Pune city and the surrounding district had reported low temperatures. Shivajinagar, in particular, recorded the season’s lowest temperature at 8.6 degrees Celsius at 5:30 am on 25th January.
