Shivraj Khuntale shared his harrowing experience, describing how he came across an enticing credit card offer on the now-defunct website www.cardcpp.net. Upon applying for the offer, the website prompted him to provide his existing card details. Soon after sharing this information, Khuntale received a phone call from an individual claiming to be a representative of the credit card company. The caller requested an OTP, assuring Khuntale that it was required solely for the purpose of redeeming rewards.

However, the call abruptly ended, and Khuntale was taken aback when he discovered that a substantial amount of 4,00,000 rupees had been deducted from his account without his consent.
Without wasting time, Khuntale sought assistance from the Cyber Cell at the Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate Office. The proficient Cyber Cell team acted swiftly, tracing the ongoing transaction to the Payment Gateway stage. Collaborating effectively with the Gateway provider, they successfully halted the transaction in its tracks. Within an astonishingly short span of just four days, Khuntale experienced immense relief as the deducted amount was restored to his account.
