Kothrud, 18th July 2023: In a recent development, the Pune police have detained two youths from a different state after discovering information related to subversive activities on their laptop. The prompt action taken by the police led to the immediate alerting of the Maharashtra State Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and intelligence agencies. Interrogations of the detained individuals are currently underway to gather more information about their activities.
The two youths were detained during a nakabandi search conducted by the Pune Police two days ago. Although one of their accomplices managed to escape, the police swiftly initiated a thorough investigation of the detained individuals. During the investigation, suspicious documents, laptops, and mobile phones were seized from both individuals. The age of the detained youths is estimated to be between 25 and 30 years.
