Pune: Amidst the increasing criminal activities against women, one shocking incident has come to light in Pune. In Pune’s Mundhwa area, one deaf and speech-impaired girl was brutally raped by three people, including his friend and a minor brother. In this case, a girl’s teacher has filed a complaint against three at Mundhwa Police Station on Wednesday.
As per the report, a 17-year-old girl is physically challenged and is unable to speak or listen. One day, when the victim girl was alone in her house, one of the accused, Sagar Rajan, viciously entered her house and forcefully raped her. He further threatened the victim girl with killing if she told anyone about this incident.
In a separate incident, her 14-year-old minor brother also took advantage of her disability and ravished her in the house. It has also been mentioned in the complaint that Rahul Patil, a friend of the victim girl, assaulted her sexually by luring her into marriage.
Distressed by these incidences, the victim girl reported the incident to her school teacher, who subsequently filed a complaint against Sagar Rajan (30), Rahul Patil (23), and the victim’s 14-year-old minor brother at Mundhwa Police Station on behalf of the victim on Wednesday, 20. Police registered a police complaint against the three under IPC 376, 376/2/N, 323, 506 along with the POCSO Act.
Sub-Inspector of Women Police Bhosle is conducting further investigation into the case.
