Pune: In the vicinity of Pune’s Nilayam Bridge, a shocking incident unfolded involving the collision of a car with the two-wheeler of a 19-year-old girl. In this public incident, a 36-year-old perpetrator molested the woman by slurring obscene remarks at her in response to her request for compensation following the collision of his car with her two-wheeler.
In this regard, a victim girl registered a complaint against accused Deepak Shivaji Amrale, a resident of the Saikripa building in Vadgaon Budruk, at Parvati Police Station on Wednesday, December 20. Acting swiftly, police registered a case against Amrale under IPC 354, 427, 504, and 506.
According to the police, on Wednesday morning, when the victim girl was passing from a Nilayam bridge on two wheeler, a speeding car collided with her bike, resulting in damage to her bike. As the victim girl demanded compensation from the accused regarding the damage, it is reported that the accused resorted to abusing the woman.
In a further contemptuous act, he threatened her, saying he was a lawyer by profession. It is also said that he attempted to molest her by slurring obscene remarks at her during the altercation. Police have registered the complaint, and Sub-Inspector of Women Police Jadhav is conducting further investigation into it.
