Pune: Man Pretending to Be Mall Employee Runs Away with Cars in the Name of Valet Parking

In a shocking incident that recently occurred in Pune, a man has been apprehended by the city police for his involvement in stealing vehicles under the guise of valet parking services at malls. The police have successfully recovered two four-wheelers, valued at Rs 15 lakh, from the suspect.

The arrested individual has been identified as Rugved Chandrakant Bhise, a 23-year-old resident of the Sinhagad Road area. The police apprehended him on the Katraj-Kondhwa road. According to the authorities, Bhise carried out his criminal activities by stealing cars from D Mart and various malls, posing as a valet parking attendant. He would take custody of the vehicles from unsuspecting owners, claiming to park them securely, but he never returned the vehicles as promised.

The arrest of Rugved Chandrakant Bhise has led to the resolution of two cases that were previously filed with the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. The police are currently conducting further investigations into the matter to determine the full extent of his activities and any additional cases that may be linked to him.
