Pune: At Mundhwa Police Station, a complaint has been filed against three people for stabbing an individual with an empty bottle and further wreaking havoc by screaming at customers in a hotel. This incident took place on Friday, December 8, at around eleven o’clock in the night at Hotel Bazooka in Dhayarkar Vasti, Mundhwa.
According to the police, the accused trio, Mangesh Tambe, Akshay Gagade, and Gotya (full name not known), were involved in a binge drinking spree at Hotel Bazooka on Friday night. However, at the time of billing, a violent scuffle erupted between them, leading them to abuse each other in contemptuous language.
Seeing it, the complainant, Bhairavanath Baburao Salunkhe (age 36), attempted to resolve the conflict and asked them to lower their voice as there are other women in the hotel. Fumed over his unwanted suggestion, one of the accused broke the nearby empty beer bottle and stabbed the plaintiff with it. They further created terror in the hotel by threatening customers and employees and shouting loudly.
Following the incident, plaintiff Salunkhe filed a complaint against the accused at Mundhwa police station. The police swiftly booked the individuals under IPC 307, 336, 352, 504, 506, 427, and 34 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act and put them behind bars. Assistant police inspector Mahanor is conducting further investigation into the case.
