Pune: CP Ritesh Kumar acts against criminal under MPDA Act; this is the 81st such action by police commissioner

PUNE: Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar has taken action against notorious criminal Pavan alias Rudra Yuvraj Dhile (22), a resident of Kumbhar Wada, Kasba Peth, Pune under the MPDA Act and he has been detained. Dhile had spread a reign of terror in the limits of Faraskhana police station. This is the 81st such action taken by the police commissioner.

The accused Pawan alias Rudra Dhile is a criminal on the records of Faraskhana police station. He has committed serious crimes like murder, attempt to murder, causing injury, riots, illegal possession of weapons in the limits of Kondhwa, Samarth and Faraskhana police stations. Three serious crimes have been registered against him in the last five years.

A proposal of taking action under the MPDA Act had been submitted to Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar. After verifying the proposal and checking documents, the CP has issued orders that the accused Pavan alias Rudra Dhile should be detained at the Nagpur Central Jail for a year under the MPDA Act.

The action was taken by Senior PI of Faraskhana police station Dadasaheb Chudappa and Senior PI of Crime Branch PCB Chandrakant Bedre, other officials and police personnel.
