Pune: Accused Sexually Assaulted Girl Luring Fake Marriage Promise; Complaint at Chandannagar Police Station

Pune: A case has been registered in Chandannagar police station against the person who cheated a young woman by denying a marriage after having a physical relationship with her. In this case, a 29-year-old girl living in Nashik filed a complaint against the accused, Aniket Ramdas Bhadane, at Chandannagar police station on Thursday.

Bhadane is 26 years old, and he is an original resident of Nashik. According to the police, both the complainant and the accused hail from Nashik. The accused and the plaintiff met each other in Nashik, and soon after, their acquaintance turned into a relationship.

After that, the accused promised the girl marriage and kept physical relations with her. The plaintiff mentioned in the complaint that the accused repeatedly kept physical relations with her when she was in Nashik and later also when she shifted to Pune.

Meanwhile, when the plaintiff asked her for marriage, the accused refused it. He further assaulted the girl and threatened her to share her obscene photos on social media if she continued asking him for marriage.

Investigating Officer Woman Police Sub-Inspector Manjusha Muluk informed that both the accused and plaintiff are residents of Nashik, and the plaintiff is currently working in Hinjewadi. The accused lured the girl into marriage and had physical relations with her. The crime has taken place in Nashik, and the victim girl filed a complaint at the Chandannagar police station.

Therefore, a case was lodged against the accused under IPC 376, 376/2/N, 323, 504, and 506 in Pune, and later it will be transferred to Nashik Police for further investigation.
