Jawan’s Pune connection: Some scenes from Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film shot in Pune Metro coaches

PUNE: King Khan’s (Shah Rukh Khan) movie Jawan is grabbing the eyeballs. The film was released on September 7 and the film is doing wonders at the box office. The film Jawan has a Pune connection. MahaMetro has posted on X that some scenes of the movie have been shot in Pune.

In January this year, Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan was released and it had almost earned ₹1,000 crore. Likewise, Jawan has also earned crores on the first day. All shows of the film are houseful in various theatres. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Marathi actress Girija Oak have also acted in the movie.

Some scenes of Jawan have been shot at Sant Tukaram Nagar metro station and metro coaches. Girija Oak has said that a special scene from the movie has been shot in the metro coaches. The special scene of the metro is in the beginning of the film. The scene shows that Shah Rukh Khan and some women are hijacking a metro coach. The shooting has been done at the metro station, according to the statement made by actress Girija Oak during an interview.

She said that the shooting of Jawan has been done in 2021 and some photos had gone viral on social media. “It was a moment of honour that the Pune Metro was selected for shooting. Some scenes of the movie have been shot at the Sant Tukaram Nagar metro station,” according to an official statement of MahaMetro on social media platform X.
