In a recent announcement, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, revealed that the decision on seat sharing within the grand alliance in the state is imminent, with an official announcement expected within the next two to three days. Pawar further specified that the candidate for Baramati, a crucial constituency, would be disclosed once the seat allocations for allies, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), are finalized.
Ajit Pawar shared these details during the book release event for ‘Arogyasaathi Japuya Aishwarya Arogyache,’ published by Chintamani Jnanpeeth and Appa Renuse Mitra Parivar at Ambegaon Plateau on Sunday.
Expressing his views on national leadership, Pawar acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most suitable leader in the country at present. He commended Modi’s unwavering commitment to work, highlighting that the Prime Minister has not taken a single holiday in the past nine years. Pawar praised Modi for bringing global attention to India and emphasized the world’s keen interest in India’s developmental agenda. According to Pawar, Modi serves as a role model for achieving the status of a developed country.
As the political landscape in Maharashtra undergoes dynamic changes with the upcoming grand alliance, the announcement of the Baramati candidate holds significance, influencing the political trajectory of the region.
