Pune, October 31, 2023: The Central Railways is gearing up to provide travelers with a festive treat by running 10 additional festival special trains between Pune and Hatia. This move is aimed at accommodating the surge in passengers during the upcoming festival season.
Festival Special Train Details
The newly introduced Pune-Hatia weekly festival special comprises 10 trips and features 20 Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches for enhanced passenger comfort. Train number 02845, a weekly festival special, is scheduled to depart from Pune at 10:45 AM every Friday from November 3, 2023, to December 1, 2023, for a total of 5 trips. The train will arrive at Hatia at 3:25 PM the following day.
Conversely, train number 02846, another weekly festival special, will leave Hatia at 9:30 PM on every Wednesday from November 1, 2023, to November 29, 2023, also for a total of 5 trips. This train is set to reach Pune at 2:45 AM on the third day of the journey.
Halting Stations
The trains will make stops at various important stations along the route, including Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, and Rourkela.
Coach Composition
The 20 LHB coaches on these festival special trains are divided as follows: 14 AC 3-Tier coaches, 2 Sleeper Class coaches, and 3 General Second Class coaches, which include 1 Guard’s Brake Van and a Generator car cum luggage van for the convenience of passengers.
